LESSON PLAN - SEMI DETAILED



HOUSEHOLD SERVICES                                          3rd QUARTER

 I. Objectives: 
                   At the end of the period the TLE Grade 8 students are expected to. 
                             a .Define Household Services
                             b. Identify Different Household Services
                             c. Participate in class discussion
                           d. Value the importance of doing Household services
II.     Subject Matter:

a.   Content: DIFFERENT HOUSEHOLD SERVICES
b.   Content Standard:The learners demonstrate an understanding of the core concepts and theories in household services.
c.    Performance Standard:independently use and maintain cleaning tools and equipment in HS according to standard procedures
d.   Learning Competency:
 LO: Use appropriate cleaning tools,equipment, supplies and materials.

f.        Materials: Learning materials (visual aids, pictures), Laptop and LCD Projector

(STORY TELLING)
The teacher will use the powerpoint and lcd projector in story telling
    Do you want me to tell you a story?
   I have 2 stories to tell you.
Ø  The first story is about a friend who work as a room attendant in a cruise ship a HRM graduate
Ø  The second story is about a friend who works as a household helper since she was in elementary and how she works hard and finished her study.
Ø  What can you say about the first story?
Ø  How about the second story?
Ø  What do you think the similarity of two stories?
Ø  What do you think is the lesson of the stories?
Ø  Any question?
Presentation of the Lesson
Ø  What do you think our lesson for the whole grading?
Ø  For the 4th grading we will dicuss about Household services
C. Lesson Proper
ACTIVITY
“GUESS THE PICTURE GAME”
Ø  The teacher will group the students into 4 groups
Ø  The teacher will ask each group to take a picture of different household task.
Ø  Each group will act and take a picture of themselves doing household services
Ø  Each picture they take will be flash in the LCD PROJECTOR
Ø  The other  group will try to guess each chores by writing their answers on the board
Ø  Each correct answer will receive 2pts.
ANALYSIS
        (The teacher will check the answer of each group. after checking the teacher will ask the following questions )
Ø  What can you say about the activity?
Ø  How did you feel while doing the activity?
Ø  How did you find working with your group?
Ø  What are the different household services?
Ø  Why it is important to know how to identify different household services?
ABSTRACTION
Ø  What is Household Services?
Ø  What are the different examples of household services?
Ø  What are the household services you do at home?
Ø  Why do you think you need to do household services?
Ø  Do you think you can earn money by doing household services at your age?
Ø  Who can explain how can you earn money by doing household services?
Ø  Why it is important to do household services at home?
APPLICATION
      “MASTER HOUSE CLEANING LIST ACTIVITY”
Ø  The student will fill up their daily, weekly, monthly and annually household chores they do at home.

Ø  Do you think it is hard doing all the household services alone at home?
Ø  Why do you think it is important to do household services at home?

“ORAL RECITATION”
Ø  Give at least 5 Household services you do at home

Since The students/millennial’s now don’t usually help their parents in doing household services at home. This Challenge will let the students do household services when they arrive home and write a short Essay about the task they do and what is the reaction of their parents while they do the challenge.
