                        At the end of the period the TLE Grade 8 students are expected to:

                                                b. Identify the types of waste;
                                                c. Create an attire out of recycledmaterials from waste and;
                               d. Appreciate the importance of having a clean environment.

Ø  Each group will be given 1 picture about earth they will explain the message of it in 2 minutes.

To model their attire from trash or wastes or from recycled materials.
Ø  They will explain the materials they used through their PowerPoint Presentation.
Ø  (in their powerpoint presentation includes the following: the materials they used, the quantity of the materials and the picture of their attire)

Ø  The Clean Air Act is the constitutional law designed to make sure that all Filipinos have air that is safe to breathe.

Ø  known as the Philippine Clean Air Act.
Ø  Ma’am to help reduce air pollution.

Ø   Ma’am it is full of garbage and wastes.

Ø   Ma’am because people keep on throwing wastes everywhere.

Ø   Ma’am people will become sick and our environment will become polluted.



Ø  Ma’am the earth is sick because of too much waste and plastic.
Ø  Ma’am we will not throw plastic anywhere and we will recycle plastics.

Ø  Ma’am the earth is trying to protect the animals from hunters.
Ø  Ma’am we will not kill animals just for fun.

Ø  Ma’am the earth is sick because of climate change and global warming.
Ø  Ma’am we will consume less for example the electricity. Instead of using motorcycle and car we will use bike.


Ø  Ma’am the earth is sick because of different wastes like chemical waste because people want more money.
Ø  Ma’am we will not use plastics. We will not throw plastics in the ocean.

Ø  Solid waste is defined as any waste that is dry in form and is discarded as unwanted. It can describe
Ø  Examples are plastics, styrofoam containers, bottles, cans, papers, scrap iron, and other trashes.
Ø  B. Liquid Wastes
Ø  Liquid waste includes human waste, runoff (storm water or flood water), sullage, industrial wastewater and other forms of wastewater from different sources. Examples are chemicals, oils, waste water from ponds.

Ø  A. Bio-degradable
     B. Non-biodegradable
Ø  Biodegradable wastes are those that can be broken down (decomposed) into their constituent elements by bacteria and other microorganisms. The term can be applied to both liquid and solid waste. Examples are Human and animal wastes, food waste, paper, and agricultural wastes.
Ø  B. Non-biodegradable Non-biodegradable trash is any discarded item that cannot be broken down by living organisms. Non-biodegradable trash accumulates in the environment because it cannot return to its origins. Examples are plastics, bottles, old machines, containers and others.

Ø  Ma’am it is important to segregate waste because it is much easier to recycle.

Ø  We can help by starting recycling our waste at home and school.
